Washing machines

Service Overview

Your washer is another critical piece of equipment, allowing you to handle laundry efficiently and quickly. A washer that is leaking can be annoying and dangerous because it leaks soapy water onto a smooth floor. You may also be having a washer that is bouncing harder or is noisier than usual, indicating that its shock absorbers are faulty. However, the most common problem with washers, as you may agree, is a slow-draining one or one that fails to drain completely. Nothing is more stressful than having to detach the hose from the machine to remove the water after every cycle, and if there are no visible blockages to the filters or drainage hose, then call us to check on it immediately.

The slightest problem with your washing machine, drier, or both can disrupt your entire schedule and peace of mind. Laundry is difficult enough without worrying about a rattling drier or leaking washing machine, and you do not want to have to mop up a horrible mess every time you finish a cycle. A washing machine and drier is important in running a home as it makes cleaning clothes convenient and less tiring. A washing machine and drier that are not functioning well can destroy your clothes, ruin your home’s flooring, create risks for falls and even electrocution, and cause stress.

We at Wise Appliance Repair have everything you need to get that washer or drier up and running. Having a washer or dryer that will not work can cause anxiety, and you may want to attempt to fix the problem yourself. While there are issues that you can fix by yourself, consider leaving the more advanced problems to a professional with years of experience, specialized equipment, and the knowhow to dismantle your washer and drier and piece it back together without ruining it. Wise Appliance Repair has been in existence for years to provide customers with quality washer and drier repair services. Below are some of the problems that driers and washer throw at their owners and what we can do to fix them:

Common Washer Issues

All washing machines vibrate as they work, which is perfectly normal. However when the vibration is so loud it can be heard or felt from adjoining rooms, it is time to take a closer look. Your machine may be sitting on unlevel ground or its shock absorbers have detached from its body. You also want to check whether there are coins, keys, or any other item that may have been in the clothes pockets that is now bouncing about in the drum. If the machine is sitting well and the shock absorbers are on perfect ground, and you cannot access the drum from the door to check for debris, then consider calling a washer repair expert to examine it.

Slow-draining washing machines are among the most common problems in households. If your machine has been draining slowly and is now grinding to a halt or just suddenly started draining slowly, do not fret as this is a minor issue. Check the filters to see if there is a buildup of grime, dirt, and debris, and the drainage hose as well. If you cannot see any visible blockages, call a repair expert to help you sort out the problem as quickly as possible. You may also find that the dirty water is not being pumped out; this is often due to a problem with the draining pump caused by debris moving about in the machine. By having the problem fixed, you can avoid having to disconnect the hose to remove the water, which is messy, stressful, and can cause falls.

A leaking washing machine could be having a damaged drain hose or any of the internal hoses. You also want to ensure that the connections at the back of the washing machine are secure and whether you can spot any abrasions, neat or rugged cuts, or cracking. You also want to check the drainage pump, whose connections may be off, or even the pump itself may be leaking. Other sources of leaks are the water inlet valve, a broken door boot seal, or water level switch. We can readily replace damaged hoses, valves, and drainage pumps for you with high-quality ones sourced from vendors we trust as well as repair all fixable causes of leaking washers.
